About Steve Denning (Founder of The Steve Denning Learning Consortium)

Steve Denning is an Australian author and management consulting professional. Denning has written more than 5 books and 600+ articles on radical management, leadership, innovation and business story telling. His book, The Secret Language of Leadership was selected by 800-CEO-READ, as the best book on leadership in 2007. He is also the author of The Agile of Agile (HarperCollins, 2018), The Leader’s Guide to Radical Management (2010), The Leader’s Guide to Storytelling (Jossey-Bass, 2011), and several other award-winning management books and articles.

In 1996 Denning became the Program Director, Knowledge Management at the World Bank where he spearheaded the organizational knowledge sharing program.

In 2015 Denning led the Learning Consortium for the Creative Economy, where group of firms, including Microsoft and Ericsson, which shared insights on the emerging Creative Economy. The Learning Consortium was highlighted by the Financial Times and by Forbes and presented to the Drucker Forum in November 2015.

Denning is now a Senior Contributor for Forbes.com writing a Leadership Strategy column with more than 600 articles on the Creative Economy and a focus on radical management, innovation and business story telling.
